HIXWERX represents the breadth of traditional
and contemporary craftsmanship created by
Marty Hicks. Metalwork is his main discipline,
which includes sculpture, furniture, jewelry and
home elements designed and produced in his
St. Paul studio.

Traditional metalsmithing, blacksmithing, chasing
and repousse are his artistic methods of choice,
but he blends these techniques with modern tools
such as electronic welders, plasma torches, and
water jet cutters.
